Here's another topic to get us started.
I'd like to hear from everyone how she/he plans to use a better understanding of EQ--or a better understanding of your emotions and how they affect your relationships.
For me, I'm always trying to eat my own cooking, but I'll admit it is really hard, especially when I'm stressed out. Who isn't stressed out, though?
One thing I struggle with is keeping my cool when I have to repeat myself. So, for me, I'm going to try to redirect my emotions away from a physical manifestation of frustration when I find myself telling someone the same thing again--and again.
We'll talk about strategies later; it makes sense that one needs to know what else to do to avoid blowing up, yelling, crying, etc., when possible.
For now, what do you want to do with your growing understanding of emotional intelligence?
