Read through your post from May! I am just starting the journey of weight loss. I will be going to the gym as soon as I can find one close to the house! I started a new insurance in Jan., and I just found out that a membership in a gym that accepts the Silver Sneakers program. Unfortunately, the ones that I have found happen to be 25-30 miles! I am not going to go that far even though they have a steam room, pool, and every whistle to boot! I am hoping within the next few days, I will find something closer! With gas being almost $4.00 a gallon, the closer, the better! Thank God for good insurance!!!

I just started walking again around the neighbohood. NO, money for health club or car either.

So, walking and keeping a journey of what I am eating too

Great idea keeping a food journal! I started walking 2 days ago just around the neighborhood! It felt really good until the fibromyalgia kicked in later in the evening! Holy God! For a day and a half I was on the couch! I have to start shorter trips instead of a mile and a half! Keep me posted how you're doing!

I know that feeling. My fibermylia is very painful and I can hardly move at times too. Then my asthma and allegies on top of it. But the worst is my FMS is horrible at time. Always in pain and unable to sleep most nights too, numbs too

Are you on any type of medication for the fibromyalgia? They have me on ibuprofen 800's 3 times a day, but i'm going to a specialist on Thursday!

I am doing just one aspirin and acetuminophen. I our insurance dosen't pay for a specailist. We are hoping that my husband gets a job in his field. So, we can better health insurance. Right now we are paying for oursleves. That is costly.

It dosen't pay for all my meds for my asthma and allegies either or my hypertenison either.
