I've lost 40 lbs, need to lose 140! I really thought I'd get to a point where I could eyeball portions and not have to weigh, measure, and count every bite. But I'm stalled, so clearly that's not working. But how do I get the enthusiasm back to do the planning and extra work involved in keeping good choices in my kitchen and serving myself properly? I have measured things into my bowls so I know where a cup of cereal comes to in the bowl, or which serving spoon holds 1/2 c - I just have to be vigilant. I'm just getting tired of trying, only to lose a little one week then gain a little the next. I'm exercising 3-4 days a week, but could probably lengthen or up the intensity. A friend suggested I go very low carb for a week - I almost gnawed someone's leg off (no wait, that would be protein!) I was craving carbs so bad. I lasted 5 days but did lose some weight.
Any suggestions?
