My favorite comfort food changes. A few weeks ago it was a healthy bowl of raisin bran with fresh blueberries and yogurt.

This week it has been a Starbucks with half and half and 3 brown sugars. A small handful of dark chocolate chips helps.

I'm a salty person. My favorite comfort food is fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy.

But for a snack, almost any chip will do. My favorite these days are the Salt and Pepper Kettle chips. But also delightful are nachos with the really bad fluorescent orange cheese. (don't worry, I only eat that when I go to the movies. and since I have two young kids, that means I never get to eat nachos.)

Casseroles, melted cheese, mac and cheese - I see a trend.

Anything with pasta, cake, cookies...gee-this list is endless. Do i really need that much comforting??!!!!!

Sunflower seeds and soy nuts (roasted/salted) that's about as comfortable as I can get without "losing my grip"
