If it involves drinking eight glasses of water a day, not interested. (Doesn't work for me, anyway.) Otherwise, bring it on.

BTW Carol, I'm already drinking 8 glasses of water a day - it's not enough

It has nothing to do with water! A teaspoon of olive oil about an hour before you eat will fill you up. At our clinic we have a product that is made from Korean Pine Nut oil and it does the same thing. It is from a company called Life Extension and is called Natural Appetite Control. You need to take it at least a half hour before eating....and it works!

Huh! Reminds me of when I was pregnant and used to get heartburn a lot. The cure was to eat a tablespoon of heavy cream before a meal, and it really worked.
I bet this works in a similar way by coating the stomach. Is that right, Dr. Robin?

The healthy fat helps to make you feel full, but the Korean pine nut oil actually stimulates the release of an appetite supressing hormone in the body.
Another trick is to have soup before a meal. That will help to make you feel full. A nice big mug of green tea can also help!

Yes, Eating lots of fresh vegetables will help fill you up. Eat them as an appetizer!
