The best part of Fantasy Football is playing the part of General Manager -- and the best part of being a GM is tricking someone into a bad trade. Here's how to do it:
1. Prey on the bottom dwellers
If you're on the top half of your league, make trade offers to the teams in the cellar. Make trade offers for their best player and offer up 2 of your average players. As the season goes on, these GMs will get more and more desparate.
2. Pick up hot players early and trade them before they cool off
In the early weeks of the season, pickup hot players and trade them while they're still hot. These players usually come back to the pack, so you must trade them before they fall back into the crowd.
3. Hoard QBs like water in a desert for a future trade
Not all teams are lucky enough to have Peyton Manning or Carson Palmer. Some unlucky souls get stuck with the likes of Dante Culpepper or Joey Harrington. Target these sorry GMs and offer your second string QB for their best player.

sucker trade!
