Well, it is unusual to see a photo without any people in it. Not unique but unusual. If you told me you took it (with no one in it) that would make it very unusual.

Let me try to depend on my senses. It is certainly centered and symmetrical--as the Taj is. The Taj is in the background--unusual. Makes it look mystical-I like that. One has to wonder about the forefront emphasis!

I took the photo and you're exactly right! A small group of us arrived at the Taj on a rainy morning very early. There were very few people there! I managed to get this shot with no people in it. Shortly thereafter, crowds showed up.

Very cool! I've had moments like that in different places and they are very special. The times it has happened for me are either first thing in the morning or in foul weather - maybe for the Taj Mahal it requires both, is in your case!

It is surprising (and wonderful) that there are some famous places you can have to yourself for a while just be getting started early in the morning.

I also have shots taken later when there were people all over the place ... but this was a neat moment.
