RoseFinch--it is sure enough Spring in Atlanta this morning. We're also getting three days of rain this week, and nobody is complaining. Our level 4 drought that we've had the whole past year has finally been downgraded to level 3.

Southerners never really put away our shorts and sandals, and they're prominent this week. Even if we have a late freeze, people will still be out in shorts and flip flops.

My grandkittens all have their eyes open, and they're beginning to get boisterous and playful with their mother, Minnie the Menace, each other and me.

Between the Internet and the Grandkittens, I'm not getting anything done in this house!

Good morning Rose and VW! Last evening's snow didn't stick around and we didn't receive more, although parts of Western Washington received up to 8" more. The coffee is ready. Sunday is the one day we can sleep in, but this morning we were all awake by 4:30. I even fixed breakfast. No plans for today (yea!) after Sunday School and church.

It's a bright sunny day here and spring certainly isn't the only thing that's sprung, apart from our clocks going forward.

I woke up, looked out the window, and being in a poetical mood I said "Lo, the morn". When she looked out the window, she instructed me: "Mow the lawn."

Gray overcast hides the blue sky this morning. Streets are damp from a light rain that fell in the area during the evening. Temp currently 61 degrees. Unusual for Calif. Anticipating good golf weather later today. Hope you all have a great day.

We just hired a local student to do our lawnmowing each week. If there's no snow, he's supposed to start Tuesday. Hubby is only working one job these days, but he still has to work overtime every weekend so having someone else do the lawn keeps us from "discussing" it all the time.
