Good morning ladies. Will try not to make too much noise so the boys sleep a bit longer Patricia. Glad to see you joining us this morning Della. And I'd love a cup of coffee Doreen. I'm not sure what happened to our weather--it looks like it might rain today. Yesterday it was in the 80's and we even ran the a/c in the car (I usually don't like to use it). I have to check the schedule, but I think I have nursery duty this morning during church. I can't put off buying gas or groceries any longer, so will have to take the plunge and do those chores today. May a bit of sunshine somehow find its way into everyone's life today.

Good morning friends. The time difference is amazing. In 45 minutes it will be noon, and I have been awake for 12 1/2 hours. So it appears I am always short on words, but I am not. I just meet up with others in a different time zone each day. So to all just arising, good bright sunny shine week to you all!

I've already made a round trip of 120 miles today - just for a hat!

Let me explain please. We are going to a posh wedding in Wales next weekend, and "She Who Must Be Obeyed" wanted a hat, but the only milliner who had one available today was about 50 miles away.

Why do women wait until the last possible moment?

But - and this is especially for Bad Frog (I hope I'm allowed to do this in this thread) - I went along for the fun of the hat chase. I left SWMBO near the milliner and availed myself of a nearby hostelry and - over a light lunch - I enjoyed a delicious pint of Froggy Juice - AKA as "Hook Norton".

You are a good husband Britscot. Next time that SWMBO wants a new hat, I'll be more than happy to throw one together for her. The designs vary, of course, depending on what's been thrown in the dumpster behind the sushi bar, but if she specifies a color theme, we can work with it.
