Happy Friday and Summer Solstice everybody! I see it is also someone's birthday too...and many, many more!

I usually cruise around the discussions and don't really have a home base. This looks like a likely haven to me. I'm trying to wean myself off heavy topics; they've been giving me a rash!

So, howdy. I'm an Okie, 55 years old. I used to be a nurse till medical problems interferred. I'm okay with that now, 15 years of therapy later, I can say that.

We've lived in Texas, Louisiana and California, but couldn't wait to get back here. My honey lamb and I watch the hawks making lazy circles in the sky.

Good morning Badfrog. Thanks for the doughnut. Feeling a little under the weather. I blame my best friend who came over yesterday and dragged me all over town shopping; it's a sauna here. But she knew I needed a good airing out. Only 6 more days till my husband gets home. This last two weeks, plus one more to go are the longest we've ever been apart.

Wow ..that's a long time !!

I used to do business travel and was away for maybe 4 days at the longest ..seemed like an enternity to not hvae my wife and kids !!

PeeEss ..BUT ..My wife always packer "her pillow" in the garment bag..that way I could get a good nights sleep ..LOL LOL

Badest frogger, hi!

Ken, Poody and I were out at the "wharf" at the end of the road we will be livin on come next month. It is literally a stone's throw from from Langly AFB. They had an air show out there at the base so we loaded up the pooch (Lewis and Clark were not impressed), went to Pquoson Deli and grabbed a lunch and drove to the little wharf at the end of the road and watched the show. It was really great. It was the first time I really was exposed to the sun in 6 years... so I got a bit toasted (as in lobster red).... my halibut-meat flesh is not used to the sun any more.

Hey I saw these guys across the street from BritScot's house.... check 'em out.

These guys were hard at it out across the street from Brit Scots house....

Now, Frognessness, look and see what Lewis was up to while we were at the air show.... I think the weird yoga guy kinda freaked lewis and his buddy out.

Out joy ridin and got in too deep....

Wierd yoga guy scares Lewis and his driver...

I got that "sound system" on the end of my porch ..we call'em R2D2 and the clan ..I have a 12 perch feeder and when they all get filled up we refer to as the Flying Circus !!
