Booboo she is adorable, Goodmorning to all,Kelly had his company picnic yesterday we didnt get home until after midnight, the kids had fun we all got out on the dance floor.I hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday and stays cool.

Good morning booboo and patricia! Everyone else must be sleeping in today. Actually, I slept in today, too. Feels good now and then to be lazy!

Went to a picnic yesterday that was a reunion of people my husband went through Leadership Idaho Agriculture with. It was held out at a friend's ranch that is in Owyhee County which is pretty much all desert, rolling hills, lava formations and such with a few hayfields sprinkled in here and there, creeks, sagebrush--you get the picture! It was absolutely beautiful and so peaceful and quiet. Their place has this amazing barn on it that was built back in 1893 and is the residence of two huge great horned owls. They were very elusive when it came to getting a picture of them and were not very happy when several of us climbed the old stairs up to the loft where they were spending a hot summer afternoon. This barn was built without a single nail. All the beams and joists were put in place with grooves and pegs--built to withstand the test of time as it has done very well. I'll post a couple pictures this evening when I download them from my camera. There is a stream that runs through the place right behind their house. This time of year it is a mere trickle of water but in the winter it is a raging torrent--especially if the ground freezes then we have a big storm and the water cannot go down into the ground. The road to get to the place is enough to deter people from wanting to live out there. On our way home we saw a jack rabbit, an eagle, a snake sunning himself on the road and lava rock formations that were quite majestic rising up from the desert floor.

Now we are back to our busy road where most drivers ignore the 50 mph speed limit signs as they whiz on by.

And now it is time to get to the homework I didn't work on yesterday! I can do this, I can do this, I can do this.........

Wow kle that place sounds fantastic, I'd love to see the barn pics, I love old barn wood.

Im ashamed of myself I forgot to check in, I have been working on the computer getting some kinks out of it and I forgot, sorry :-) I hope you all have had a wonderful day today, I would say, staying out of trouble but in here I know that wont happen.LOL
