I wasn't thinking what today was, so I responded in the last thread!

We're snowed in! I think hubby is calling in to work today, son is skipping church, and I'm curling up in my fuzzy, red house coat!

I just don't know how we're going to get the other kids home, they spent the weekend at my Dad's. lol

Drinking coffee as I check in.Gotta love that snow as long as the electricity is on! This summer I'll be bitching about the heat. :-)

Bartender duty at my son's gala christmas party ..was..a huge delight..

The younglings arrived en-masse and I learned how to make about 25 new concochchins of drinks ..the yellow smoothies ..the red headed slut .. the slow blue burn ..did you know that there are at least 8 different kinds of vodka besides 80 and 100 proof !

I didn't know they put "Red Bulls" in a can ! I didn't know there were even red bulls..

Around 11PM ..I was introduced into the wonderful world of ..YagerBombs !! The Gen-Y answer to a boiler-maker..!

BUT ..the absolute very best part ..was the hugs-n-kisses from the young cuties !

Going to head for church shortly; but wanted to pop in and say I hope everyone has a blessed day. Good to see you Just; glad you are getting the hang of this. Like Whiteman, come summer I will be complaining about the heat, so I try not to complain about the cold to much. Im not much of a drinker and have to admit that pretty much everything BadFrog said went over my head; that is until he got to the hugs-n-kisses from the young cuties part. I think he should have put as much detail into that part as he did the drinks. Maybe I better get ready and get to church before any other thoughts cross my mind here. Be Blessed Everyone.

Its raining like mad here in Pa...Im not gonna complain..(too much..lol) cause at least its not snow..However heading out to a Christmas party tonight so hoping roads dont turn into skating rinks..

Hey Doreen, if the rain you are getting is equal to the snow in Michigan, then I feel for you. 6" on the ground and it's not supposed to stop until sometime this evening. I've got a pot roast in the slow cooker, my BlockBuster rentals, some football games, and my family is all home. We are snowed in but very cozy, thank you.

It's a brilliant blue-sky-sunny day here in Central Texas. Just gave the poodles their 3-mile walk. Now thinking about the Christmas shopping I must start. I teach, and the semester ended yesterday, so I haven't done any shopping except for 2 Amazon orders. Is it time to panic yet?
