Let me start out by saying that until recently, I had not dated since the early 80's.
I have been on three dates with men that I met online in the past month. Don't get excited--none of them have panned out. But all three seemed to think I should pay for my meal, which I did. In each case, according to their online profile, they earn more than me.
I can't help but feel sort of put out by this. In each case, I drove to a meeting spot of their choice, so I felt that I had more invested in the date than they did, Any hoo, is this common now? Do men you meet online expect a gal to pay her own way, or were these guys just cheap? Are there different rules for dating a man you meet online?
