Love it! You are right, a lot on motorcycle pics! I have a pic of mine for my background on the computer. If you knew the freedom I feel when riding, you would like riding too. To me riding is freedom, a way of traveling for less money, smelling what the neighbors are BBQ'ing and smelling nature (skunks included)! Just because they ride doesn't mean they are only looking for a chick who does. Besides, with a sewing machine you could put some patches or designs on his jacket for him. Most guys who ride are some of the nicest most down to earth people you will ever meet. I myself haven't ridden in years but still consider myself a rider.

I agree with widowerdave, not all "bikers" are "the bad guys"! I belong to a motorcycle group called "Christian Motorcycle Association", we stop to help anyone that is in need, anyone! We are here to serve the people around us,whether we know them or not. Many bikers are your "normal working blue and white coller people"; I know lawyers that ride along with police men. Just last week I was at a scene of a motorcycle accident, the trooper that came was a biker himself. Now if only we could fit a 1200cc motor on a sewing machine, how many sewers will be out there beside us? Also bikers are not "all" shallow, if someone dosen't ride, that's okay with me, I look beyond what the person is on the outside, it's the inside of the person that makes the difference, besides, I need someone to sew on some patches for me!

Some guys are fanatics about riding (some women love riding too), but i wouldnt by pass their profiles just because they own bikes. The ones that must have a woman on the back of the bike will say it right out in their profiles.. While its true you probably dont have a photo of your sewing machine in your profile to show your level of enthusiasm for your sewing hobby, it is a love that once bitten is never really let go of even if one no longer owns a bike.. But it doesnt mean it has to be shared with someone if its not their thing. I have known women that wouldnt get on the back to save their lives, but it wasnt a deal breaker in the least..If everything else looks good to you in the profile, you could always just ask them outright! I dont own a sewing maching..Hell im not sure if i even own thread and a needle, would it be a deal breaker for you if they didnt as well?

Ahh, touche, Anthony! No, not owning a needle and thread is no deal breaker, but not having a pin cushion, that would be unforgivable!

Most bikers I know are the type of guys that would be the first people to,for example,stop to help you change a flat tire.....I'd date you even if you refused to even look at my motorcycle!!-And I looked at your profile,even though you own a sewing machine!!BTW.my Singer recently cost me $85 to check,clean and time,which the shop said must be done since it hadn't been used for a few years..

Thanks for the insights that people from many walks of life love to ride. I commend you and the Christian Motorcycle Assn for the good that you do. It must feel good. Here in NH we just had a "bike week" and so many riders were in accidents and it seems every year a number are killed in collisions, usually with a car.

I don't feel very safe riding a motorcycle. Heck, driving in a car is risky enough. Maybe I'll start wearing a helmet in addition to the seatbelt!

Shallow? No, I don't think that of a rider. Now that I explore this, I think it's partly because of the type of people I saw my older brother ride with in the late '60s and early '70s. They scared me, and their bikes were their first love. He still loves to ride, but at home he and his wife now have teacup poodles instead of a doberman! Those cute, little fur balls just love being in his lap.
