Recall you are always good for making broad sweeping genralizations... I date both of the net and from events... I have had a lot of men who are big ole wimps who back out of meeting too...
Female friends aren't a bad source but I rely on my male friends to give me a male perspective go figure talk to a guy about a guy.. I also work with all men which has given me a wee bit o tiny insight over the last 10 years.
And the truth is why shouldn't I be demanding.. why should I settle.... I have dated settling and been miserable why would I want that for the rest of my life?
I am worth it, he should be to.. and god knows I dont want someone who is less demanding about the person he wants to be with and her qualities.
And men online are just as shallow if not more than women... I can tell you the number of men who open with can I see your pictures.... I have rarely asked for pictures to me it is more important to have a meeting of the minds
I agree with you SusieQ321 men nearly always ask for picturs and i have never ask to see any why would you want to see picturs before you get to know the person?
Then when I meet someone an a singles event. I have a theory the more demanding women find their way to the internet. Now women here will not agree. But we see looking out. We don't see ourselves unless we have a realistic mirror. Many women rely on their friends for input. Not a good source.

I do rely on my friends for all sorts of input. When I'm full of crap, they tell me. Would it be better to rely on strangers who really don't know me? Why would I even care what they think?

My friends - male and female - see me as a friend and a person. Most of them have known me through many phases of my life. And my question remains... who exactly SHOULD I be getting input from?
When a person has a problem with their teeth? Do they go to their friends? They go to a dentist. Although their friends might have given them a referral. When something just isn't working out. We need to consider contacting an expert. A specialist. Friends may not be objective enough? They may have hidden agendas. They may not see the problem or want to hurt your feeling by telling you? Plus aren't women competitive with each other?

Defining you as a demanding woman? I must admit I haven't studied you to make a determination whether you are or not. But if you would like me to see you that way? I would have to consider your request. Although I don't think it would be a good conclusion for you to reach about yourself.
