July 22 - What constitutes cheating?

I was watching a rerun of "Sex and the City last night and it was the one in which Carrie asks "What constitutes cheating?" based on Samantha's observation that it's only cheating if you get caught.

Miranda's latest was cheating on her by watching porn while they were making love; Carrie cheated on her friends by not telling them she was seeing Big again; Charlotte was straight and trying to fit in with her new power lesbian friends after she catches her date making out with someone else in the back room.

I oriiginally asked if anyone was/is a cheat - but now thinking that no-one would fess up to that even behind the anonymity of TBD.

So...

What constitutes cheating?
