Hi Phil,

I was there. I was 17 that summer and we came up from Long Island a group of us in one car. Yes Rt. 17 was like a parking lot and people left their cars and just walked into the festival which is what we did. I have lots of memories I could share.........I remember the music, the crowds and the hog farm came to feed us-brown rice and cabbage and carrots......served out of huge garbage cans (new ones of course). We were young, in love, high on marijuina, carefree, crazy and we thought we would change the world and we did to some extent. I'm uploading a picture of me (with the white shirt over a bathing suit and longish brown hair) I was watching some crazy exchanges between people in the woods while the photographers were doing shoots for the magazines.
