I'm planning a trip to the Douro Valley in Northern Portugal next fall and would like to know if anyone has rented a villa up there. Also, any other suggestions about the area would be welcome. When are the best weeks to go? Best towns to stay in? I'm considering Amarante and Lamego. Thanks for help.
