This is a wonderful request. Thank you. To ensure that our chanting and praying is set forth with an intention that can lead to the great goals you speak of, I have this question for you: Can you please tell us if you believe (personally) that our most important relationships must be free from personal conflict as an indication that our chanting and praying are not a distraction from the work we have to do at home, before we turn our time and energy to the world?

I am Buddhsit and I do my prayers and chanting at home. It is for the world good. You can pray at home for world you don't have to go to be in chruch or temple to pray or chant for other. You can be anywhere you want and sit and quite area.

This is to help the world out. Yes, it will help us all out. Because it will strength you faith.

Don't want to help out others in this form? I do belive in it is inside of ourslves to bring good to the world..

I can chant anytime or anywhere if I want to do so. You can do this to?? Can't you too??

Thank you for your reply. I agree with everything you said, and of course it is my deepest wish that we can bring peace to the world, in whatever way we can.

Chanting is a wonderful practice and is available to us all at anytime, yes, I agree with you on this also.

I am not sure if you answered my question, though. I am now more interested to hear your opinion since you are Buddhist. Could you read it again and see what you think? Here it is.

You don't have to chant like me!!! That is not what I am saying to you.

You can pray in your own faith to get the same reaction. It is to open doors to all faiths..

Prayers do work wonders in the world. It dosen't matter if you aren't Buddhist at all. As long as you have faith in something, even it isn't in nothing at all.

I am not telling you have fellow me at all. You have to fellower your heart. Not your mind.

I think going to chruch is great!!! I just want us to work together for peace and I do know that we can do this..

Teacup, thank you so much for asking us to continue to work, pray, chant, and meditate, for world peace. We need to focus our positive, healing energies on ourselves, those we know ,and also, for so many suffering people. We are especially mindful of the millions of gone,homeless, and hungry in Myanmar, in their hour of need.

However, I think that Mick is asking you if we FIRST need to get ourselves in order, within, then, in our personal and family/friend relationships, to be fully free to concentrate on world peace.

I know that I am a work in progress. It is taking me years of studying,listening, practicing, and attempting to let the light in, moreso. I am trying to withold anger,judgement, to let go of past pain, to forgive, and allow peace to fill me instead. Then, I practice radiating happiness and tranquility outwardly to all.

May we all continue to seek/find peace within, and thereby, transmit it outwardly.

Of course let yourself for peace. Your family and friends to bring peace to them and others in your life too.

We have to look outside the regular box. Yes, it is great to heal yourself and your friends and family. But we need to heal the world too.

People don'thave to belive the same as you. You can sit and talk to others about praying for peace and talk out what want to bring change to the world.

To me this is good thing that we are talking about this.

Just because I am Buddhist you don't have fellow me into faith. Your faith is fine. YOu must talk like this in your chruches don't you?? HOw you can make a better world??
