Hi, my name is Ellen. I have a daughter- she is 19 today- who suffers from bipolar/adhd and possibly a borderline personality. Life has been very intense for years living with her. She is currently attending college at the Culinary Institute in Hyde Park, Ny. She is not having an easy time. It is not the classes. She is doing excellent academically. It is getting along with people. She has only been there since November 11. Her first roommate moved out last weekend. She couldn't deal with Katie's moods. A new roommate moved in on Monday and when Katie went up to her room last night the girl had moved out. SHe called me in tears because no one can live with her. She also hates to be alone. She is on meds and has been going to counseling since she was 11. I don't know what to do and now that she is 19 no one will even tell me anything. This was a fear I had and my ex as well, that she just won't be able to deal with college. Any suggestions?
