I absolutely continue to keep myself up not only for my hubby but for myself as well. I can't stand to walk around looking at myself if I'm not pleasing to my own eyes. I refuse to allow myself or my hubby to look less than. We are suppose to compliment one another in all that we do including how we dress as well as all other aspects of the relationship. The same things it took me/he to get the other is to continue on until we just can't do it any longer (no activity of the limbs) I love me and I love looking good at all times of the day/ night and my man has to look good as well. The suit is a hot mess if the shoes are raggedy ; )

I'm with the others--I take care of me for me and if my husband benefits from it, that is a bonus. Feeling good about yourself is from the inside out but also from the outside in. If I feel like I am looking frumpy and ugly, it is hard to feel good about myself!

I love it when my special someone goes out of her way to look special.

Girl, you're too funny. My mantra is: you never know who you'll meet. Except for a quick trip to the grocers, I try not to look like something the cat dragged in.
