My libido is great, my hot flashes and night sweats have dimmed down quite a bit, I am not on any HRT at all. Of course I no longer have uterus or cervix - but ovaries are still doing a little. I have had palpitations on and off for YEARS at the peri-menopausal stage. The doctors all said it was ok.

I've had heart palps also. Seems like I can go for months without, then out of the blue one day I'll have them. Sometimes if you cough they will stop. Weird huh??

Hi there, healthy49; I can identify with your symptoms: I am 63, had total hysterectomy 10 yrs. ago, haven't been the same since. Keep using the progesterone cream - I use one that has phytoestrogens in it which also help with other symptoms like mood swings, insomnia, etc. They are special herbs. I was in emergency room with the heart palp's, was told I had atrial fibrillation, which can be related to low estrogen and also low thyroid.
