Yes, I think my ex bf started man-o-pause right after his 50th birthday - then he broke up with me. He couldn't handle my emotional roller coaster and he started acted very strange after his birthday!! Probably better for both of us that we are no longer together lol!

Man-o-pause is when some young female smiles at them and they stop briefly before they chuck their present life for their future life.

Yes ..it's the slowing down process and reflection of where we have been and what we have done in life. But, mostly the slowing down process. To that end, at least for me, has been "smelling the roses" and appreciating my life. To also be drawn much closer to my mate and being thankfull of having her and sharing my life with her.

I tend to understand the negative statements in a different light. It sure aint a change of life or slowing down. IMHO .. it's some of life's bullshit that must be dealt with.

Then again .. my life changes, as I turn 60, are shared with my wife. I was not driven to do insane things and screw my life up nor was I impacted by external negative forces.

That's my view..
