Gark. This topic gets my dander up (hardey har har).
Anyone have suggestions for a how-to on how to "suddenly" go gray? I've been dying my hair since I started graying at 22. My hair grows pretty fast and I find that my WHITE roots require every-three-week salon appointments. Expensive and not financially sound when I'm looking at sending off my youngest to an expensive college next year.
My mom had not-very-attractive gunmetal strands mixed with white that tended to yellow. Also got pretty sparse. (Good times!)
Do you suggest "suddenly" going gray (with more salon visits until my own faded-gunmetal grows in?) or trying to increase streaks (I wouldn't call them "highlights") gradually?
I'm 55, and work in an ad agency chock-full of 20-30 somethings (I call them "luckythings.")
