Dear Milton,

I'm happy to announce that Stop the Merry-Go-Round has passed through our board of readers and editors and has been accepted. Congratulations.

I'll be sending a contract in a separate email. Will you please

forward your mailing address as well, so I know what other forms will

be necessary.

I'm currently finishing up one book as lead editor and starting

another. When this book is complete, we'll start editing yours. It

doesn't need much editing but some. This will probably be within the

next 3-6 months.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Also, when you send your mailing address, do me a favor and attach a

copy of your book in rtf format so I have them both in the same email.

It took a while, but now I can say that I'll have a book in press soon. Its a great feeling and it cannot be described in words. It is what every writer works for and then ... if you are addicted as I am, you start writing the next one the same day, but with more enthusiasm since you have been validated by the only one who counts at this phase: the editor.

And, to get to the ones you really want to please - the readers - you have to pass through this gauntlet first.
