Joyful:

The audience roared as Lo Fat, grinning mightily after his win, pirouetted to the judge's table.

Drunk:

Scrabble tiles scattered as Lo Fat lurched into his opponent's table, smelling of sake.

HUNGRY: Lo Fat rushed to the buffet, his great belly growling in complaint. Hurriedly, he filled his plate, and then he filled his mouth.

JOYOUS:When Lo Fat laughed, his belly rippled, his face grew pink and the flesh crinkled around his eyes. He slapped his thighs with a roar.

DRUNK:He thudded like a wanton beast picking its way across a moving floor, swaying left, swaying back. He studied his empty stein with peevish confusion.

The theme just calls for buffets and dancing, I guess.

Did you get an image of Vegas? I got the buffet from Lo "Fat", as I assume we all did, and the Vegas image from the idea of a world class tournament.
