You can activate up to 11 search engines and ask questions or modify them to get the responses you want. I use it all the time for my searches for overseas lodging and local guides when I'm going traveling.

Here is another favorite of mine - The CIA World Fact Book https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/index.html.

Choose any country in the world from a drop-down menu and you will find all the basics. These include a map and info on population, politics, economics, history and much more.

This site is a particularly good place to look at before traveling on vacation to someplace previously unknown to you. It will make the rest of what you see that much more interesting.

Whatever kind of music you like, you almost certainly will find it free and in abundance at AccuRadio (http://www.accuradio.com/channellist/).

Im a big fan of RefDesk. The history section has given me many enjoyable hrs.

Another fun music site is Imeem.com. Imeem lets you listen to (but not download) almost any song by almost anybody you might think of.

In addition to the more usual pop, jazz, etc., examples of what I've found include pieces from the original production of Man of La Mancha, Who Wears Short Shorts?, and eclectic Brazilian pop. You can put together your own play lists.
