Here's another chance to check out some articles by Gallup--if you haven't yet.
One recent book from Gallup Press is 12: The Elements of Great Managing.
The link below discusses the 9th element: employees mirror the work ethic around them.
So, if you check it and read it, come back and let us know some stories of what you've mirrored at work (good or bad, productive or unproductive.etc.).
The end goal: taking time to think about becoming the kind of manager or leader whose work ethic is worth mirroring.
My story? I can recall many times that I mirrored the exact emotions of my manager--and how I mirrored the ways she/he used emotions to get things done (rally people, excite people, etc.).
And, of course, when she/he worked long hours on an important and visual project, I tried to do the same thing with projects of my own.
