Hi group!
When I facilitate management training classes, I always remember to state that the collective knowledge of the group far exceeds what I know about being a great manager and leader.
I know the same will be true of this group. And to start off, I feel it would be useful for us to learn about the mgnt skills of each other.
I'll kick it off . . .
This is my passion: helping managers manage better. I love this topic. I'm the person you meet and talk about your job and I start asking questions and learning more about who's on your team, what their roles are, what the goals of the business are, how you are connecting individual passions to company vision, mission, and values.
I've always managed small groups, at the director level in HR.
I've hired and fired and managed out people.
I'm looking forward to learning more about how to help my clients become better managers and excellent leaders.
