I have put together this group as a forum where we can discuss our varying personality types after we have taking the assessment tool or survey provided in the WONDER WHY WE DO THINGS WE DO section of this group. Unfortunately, I was not able to design this group the way in which I wanted ... that is placing the main content with the surveys on the entry page of the group.

I am blue (12) and gold with intro-extroversion. I see a conflict here. The person can be either introvert or extrovert,not both.

This describes me to a T--I can't believe it! Only thing I don't agree with is that I do not express emotions by yelling and screaming--the rest fits pretty well.

Funny, I recently quit my job to back to college for a degree in social work and counseling. Why? Because what I have learned since the death of my daughter might be able to benefit someone else--always trying to help others.

Damn I am a true blue extrovert to the core, except when it comes to work, I am a bit of a perfectionist and generally people don't relate well to me because I am long winded, extremely detailed, and uber-intellectual, candidly speaking.

I must agree with much of what was up there (no wonder I relate to your posts so well, kle!)

Had to laugh at both LOOKING ON THE BRIGHT SIDE OF THINGS and TO TOUCH/TO BE TOUCHED. I do tend to play Pollyanna and I even feel the need to ((hug)) online.

Isabella, I think it is possible. My score reflected how I don't mind being the center of attention (teaching) but I value my ME time.

I'm not stressed in crowds, I love to scream at concerts [quite therapeutic], my favorite part of presenting conference posters is the wide array of people you meet... I have some extrovert qualities.

Still, I prefer being alone. I like solitary activities, I don't get much time to myself, so my answers probably reflected my desire for introvert activities... reading the book rather than watching a movie.

You can be both.
