I remember reading the 2001 rebate checks did stimulate the economy. Honestly, I don't know how much or for how long. Is a short-term fix really worth it to add another $150 billion dollars to the National Debt?? In my opinion; I don't think so.

The debt gets higher. Who will pay off the debt? My grandchildren's children?

Or will the house of cards fall before then?

Great question...who knows??

The answer might surprise some people: China! Yes, China owns our debt. That is one reason that the US gov. wants to

regulate the China juan.
