I also wonder why you had to post this in so many places, the number of alerts on it is just crazy. Couldn't you have mass PM'd us all, also put it on the front page, and on the tbd feedback page?

So are the number of discussions about it, since all those alerts now have their own comments attached.

Not that I need to piss anybody else here off but today's upgrades get a D+.

You can read my comments on the Group Alerts along with other's comments on the pic "upgrades" on your link.

But the kicker that brought it down was the unadvertised upgrade.

Clicking "go to discussion" on an alert is erratic. I've now had it take me to the first unread post, the last post in the discussion, and the 3rd of 4 unread posts.

My Inbox is being flooded with all kind of new threads being posted, cant delete them as fast as their coming in.

HOW D I STOP IT?????

Just go to Settings on your Inbox and click Manage Your Alerts. From there you can stop alerts on any group you're a member of.

Even easier: each alert has a STOP ALERT button on it. So if you are getting an alert from a group that you don't want to be alerted about, just press that button on the alert.

All well and good, but I have over 2000 alerts there, many of which are for questions that expired long ago. I tried "managing" it once, but since every time I deleted something it took me back to the top, I gave up very shortly.

As Robin suggests, it's way easier to do it from the alert itself.
