Hi PaulaMae, There's a few things we look for in determining who to feature in that spot: a picture, with an emphasis on actual photos; a fairly complete profile, but there has to be something filled out in the interests section; activity, meaning the person has to have posted at least a few times; and a recent login, for instance everyone featured on today's home page has logged into the site in the past 2 days.
