Mobile TBD - Random Thotz from CO

Am I the only mobile device junkie who wants TBD to be mobile

I use mobile versions of facebook, myspace, twitter, yahoo, espn, and others. i have tbd loaded, but it is totally non-functional.

I uploaded a photo to facebook the other day to see how that works and determined that its a pretty good feature. my next experiement is to see if facebook accepts treo centro video formats.

I don't know what TBD features I'd have on my mobile device - but at a minimum it would be to answer questions and enter discussions, which is the TBD bread and butter.

Is this any interest to anyone but Palm/Blackberry geeks like me?

My internet was down for a few days and I found I could access TBD on my Palm but could not take part in any conversations. I believe the blackberry folks can.

sounds like blackberry is the preferred tbd platform - i wonder if the windows people have same functionality issues.

what good is tbd when all the other networking sites are accessible via palm?

i have to tell you that my tbd frequency has dropped off quite a bit lately.

I observed non-scientifically some usage patterns of TBD. Some folks may start a thread in a discussion group and they go at it for some time.. These usually happen in some of the popular groups.. Those folks may want a mobile TBD (and also helps them in being discreet)

But then I have notice, randomly, during some limited interaction some of the folks are really way technologically challanged.. so they are not i-phoning yet.. However, a "yet more" dumbed-down (for mobile) TBD may help some of those.

The bottom line, the mobile TBD maybe a cool idea for the seeking discreet-ness guys/women.. it should definetely include of enablement group discussions and support.

i've 'befriended' quite a few tbd people and now interact on facebook with them. there's the tbd life and the facebook life - like knowing people at different levels 'off line'. i agree that a 'dumbed down' version of tbd would be good enough. as it is, it's basically a huge interactive blog site. the mobile versions of facebook and myspace really aren't much past basic messaging. i've disabled the 'image download' function anyway, so just texting would be okay by me. but as it is now, tbd is totally non-functional.
