I spent almost 20 years doing victim assistance in Colorado and New Mexico. Worked in law enforcement settings. Met the victims and/or survivors anywhere from 20 minutes to 24 hours after the trauma. Even met and worked with a few years after the trauma. I am no stranger to death, dying, grief, loss, and becoming a survivor. I taught Grief and Loss at a university for a few years. I have lost relatives with the freshest one being this last Christmas Eve. I'm no expert, but I have dealt with a lot of grief. Got questions? I'll give you my best answer.
