This is what I'm working on these days...............couldn't seem to get the whole sweater in 1 photo, so did it this way (sheesh!). The yarn is a dark rose color - 50% alpaca, 45% merino & 5% Estrillina, which is sparkly. Didn't see that when I ordered it online, sparkles aren't really my thing, but guess I got 'em anyway!

It's very lovely, I don't think it could be too sparkly, as it doesn't show it in the picture.
I know, that's why I bought the yarn! The sparkle seems to show up a lot in my deep pink yarn though, guess I'll just be a twikley sort of person when I wear it.

That is lovely! I seem to have the opposite problem - I buy yarn because of its sheen or sparkle and when I knit it up, it seems to have disappeared!
All I'm working on right now is socks - not nearly as exciting!
Ignore this - I'm having TBD problems this morning!
