IT'S MISSING ! ! ! OMG . . . OMG . . . It's really missing!!!

Not my sanity . . . although some would guess that . . . NO . . . it's my BABY'S first missing TOOTH!!!

I am SOOOOOOOO not ready for this milestone.

Today I had to buy new undies for my big guy and realized that this was the last size that comes in 'characters'. And then I come home to my husband saying, "prepare yourself . . . just prepare yourself", and Carter comes out to show me his toothless grin.

They grow up WAY too fast. This is my BABY. It seems like just yesterday when he was cutting his first tooth. When did he grow up and WHO GAVE HIM PERMISSION!?!

Don't forget to let him put it under his pillow for the tooth fairy to come ...

I have every baby tooth my son lost and have them packed away in his baby box...

Oh, by the way... He is 38 yrs old now and still doesn't know I have them.. Maybe it's time to tell him what the tooth fairy did with them.. LOL

This reminds me of the time one of my daughters put a tooth under her pillow at night, and awoke to find the tooth still there. I knew as soon as I saw the look on her face that the 'tooth fairy' messed up big time.

I thought fast though - told her considerate fairy was afraid she would wake her up reaching under her pillow and left the money with me, and I would get the tooth to her.

She is 20 now. I wonder if she remembers that? She would probably say it happened because she is the 'middle child'. lol :)

When my big guy lost his second tooth he was at lunch at school and . . . yep, you guessed it . . . he swallowed the tooth. We wrote the tooth fairy a note explaining what happened (we told him the tooth fairy wouldn't want us to 'fish it out', to which he said, 'eeewwwwww, MOM!'). The tooth fairy left him TWO dollars for that tooth . . . which is only fair seeing as he was essentially going to lose it twice. ;0)
