Maybe you need to step back from the situation, and ask yourself why you were cheating in the first place.

Was it because you were bored? Angry? Was it because he didnt trust you in the first place?

Can what caused to to wander off in the first place, be fixed? Or was it only a matter of time? What are the chances it will happen again? Can the relationship, should the relationship be repaired, or is it really just time to move on?

You can't "get him" to trust you. All you can do is be the best partner you can be and hope that he'll learn how to trust you again.

You might want to start by being clear about what you want in the relationship and by working with your husband to set clear groundrules for how you'll both behave in the relationship. Then keep to those groundrules in letter and in spirit.

I agree with everyone else. Trust is not something you "get." It's something you earn. Sounds like you have a lot of earning to do.
