I've always had a desire to visit Alaska. From the photo's and travelogues that I've seen it looks like it must be one of the most beautiful spots on the planet.

When I was married to my first husband, he told me that he'd take me anywhere I wanted to go for our 25th wedding anniversary. Ah-ha, I thought my dream had come true, there was no question that it would be a cruise to Alaska!

But, wouldn't you know...my timing has never been very good. I ended up leaving my husband in March of our 25th year - only 6 months short of my dream destination.

Oh well, another time. At least I can still dream about it. And I do!
