Beautiful country. I went to the Queen Charlotte Islands salmon fishing. Following is a picture of a 48 pound king that I caught. I was tagged as a "freakin humanitarian" because I released it...

Well, darn! Don't seem to remember where that one was located. Graham Is. or Moresby? We were mostly on Moresby Is., worked for quite a while at a fish hatchery at the head of Cumshewa Inlet.

Thought it might be up in Naden Harbor, that's a popular spot for lodges! Am attaching a photo of my only spring (king) salmon. I was jigging for cod & left the jig in the water while stopping for lunch. It came along & thought it looked tasty, I guess. Didn't fight much with 16 oz. of weight hanging from its lip!
