Hello everyone,

If you have come to this group, you must be interested in finance and the management of your own funds in todays stock market. This is group is for member to share ideas and educate each other on trading and managing your own money in today's stock market.

I am not here to sell anyone a service, I am here to help. I am also here to educate myself. I will be honest, I would love everyone to join our website! However, that is not a requirement to learn. Education at our site is free, as well as the tools you need to begin to manage your own funds.

On the membership portion of our site, we do provide education trades that can teach you how to enter and exit the market with profits that will beat any WallStreet firm while exposing yourself to less risk. I cannot convince everyone that this is possible, but if I can just show 1 person how to save themselves from the problems of housing and now a falling stock market, my effort will be my reward.

I will be posting articles of interest, examples of past market trades, and my weekly examination of 4 indexes, the Dow Jones Industrials, Standard and Poors 500, Nasdaq Composite and Russell 2000.

We are technical and fundamental market traders. If you do not believe in technical analysis or have a problem with traders who utilize it, I am afraid this group is not for you.

If you are looking for someone to manage your money for you, then this is also not a group for you.

If you would like some education, help, share ideas, share economic thoughts and maybe help all of us learn something, then you have come to the right place.

Hi, thanks for stopping by. The S&P 500 Index returned approximately 5.5% last year, so your manager returned about have of the index returns. It is hard to comment without knowing the past performance of your manager or his management style. He may be a perfectly fine manager who simply had a bad year. At least he did not have a negative return! The ideal approach is to learn what is in your investments and how to manage them yourself. I realize this sounds like a daunting task, especially when there is work, kids, a home, responsibility. Life in itself is a daunting task. However, management of your own finances is the only way you can ever be assured of the safety of your investments and the quality of the returns you are receiving. There are many excellent places to learn about stock markets, bonds and other investment tools, many on the internet. Even colleges have Adult education courses on subjects such as investing and personal finances. My companies website returned 44% in 2007, but that is through active self management, and we do not manage outside funds I am afraid. We do help people learn to achieve those returns themselves, and the educational section of our site is totally free. It is definitely something you can learn. If I can help in anyway or direct you to some places to start the learning process, please let me know. Jay
