Somebody's doing it

Not pointing any fingers because I believe in "judge not, lest ye be judged". So this is just to start some dialog. Most of the threads I read in here show lots of abhoration and disdain for extra-marital affairs. But if you stop to think about it, SOMEBODY has got to be doing it because so many marriages are broken up or in trouble because of adultery. So my question(s) to you all are have you, would you, and if you have, would you do it again?

I haven't and I wouldn't. Happily married 20 years and don't wish to do anything to jeopardize that. Besides, I'm happy so there is no need or desire to wander.

I didn't have an affair while I was married, and his was the final straw. We had a lot more problems then that

I think affairs are between the parties involved and those affected...NOBODY ELSE! It shouldn't be anybody else's concern. It's kinda like abortion...a private matter.

Doubt you will get any honest answers Toney. imo.

My ex cheated on me several times. Last thing a cheater wants is to get caught, compound that with whatever elaborate plan they concieve and honesty is not thier strong point. They seem to have all sorts of excuses like. "he neglects me. shes abusive. she doesnt like sex...." yes Ive heard a few. in the end thier not gettng what they want, they dont want to change thier own lifes so they lie and scheme and honesty is not going to be thier real strong point.

Ive never had one and maybe you can tell Im a little bitter over being cheated on...

I plead the 5th. However, I will say that if there is a couple, one member is a passionate, loving, in need of the human touch, sex loving, open person and the other member is not interested no matter what he does, why should that member determine what happens. Why should the one who wants intimacy be denyed? Just saying....
