My wife and I have discussed quite a few things in regard to married life. When we first got together, we were both a little insecure. Now, after all these years and all that we've been through together, we are a lot more secure in our relationship. Over the years, we have seen some relationships break up over infidelity and adultery. I have had to answer and have asked the "would you ever cheat on me?" question and the "have you been tempted?" question. I say all this to pose this question (inspired by amwhatiam's response to my thread about married/single friendships), which is harder to accept/get over/forgive: a one night stand or a full blown affair? Does it matter more if there is emotion involved?
On a side note, I was floored the day my wife told me she wouldn't get too upset about a one night stand, its the full blown affairs she'd have a problem with. (Hell, up to that point, I thought all of that was a ball-busting, deal-breaker.)
