I was in the middle of answering a question in the Nudist Group on TBD, when it ocurred to me (and not for the first time) that enjoying being naked (nudism) is not the same as exhibitionism.
They are different in both motivation and effect. I'm not entirely sure why nudists like to get naked, but exhibitionists do it for the sexual thrill (or at least that's why I do it).
As for the effect, I'm told that real nudists don't get turned on, either by being nude or seeing others nude. For exhibitionists, since getting turned on is the whole point, the act would be a failure if it weren't the effect.
I personally would be very disappointed if people looking at me nude didn't get turnned on, and more so if I didn't get turned on myself for letting them look. As I said, that's the whole point.
Anybody else have a thought on this?
