Janus has got a good start at it. The clitoris is way bigger than the nub you see and stimulate. The body of it goes back into the body and then splits into two 'legs'. These legs wrap around the g-spot so when one is stimulated for awhile (say the clit first) then the blood flow is started and the g-spot (area really) gets the benefit of this.
