Beautiful!!!!! Glad to know it is not all concrete

Thanks, Lucie! When I first started living in New York...specifically, Brooklyn; I was horrified at the starkness and impersonal nature of the entire area. I went from mountains and meadows, rushing streams of fresh, crystalline water and fields uncountable filled with wildflowers and wildlife in the blink of a eye. (Or so it seemed at the time.)

Sanity and comfort HAD to be found in this concrete labyrinth or I surely would have failed, or dropped out of university...

Two native New "Yawkers" took me under their collective wings and guided me to the nature, and the natural world that exists in tiny pockets; and the grandeur of Central Park.

It changed my outlook about the big city forever; and it filled my heart with joy and serenity that even among the masses of 8,000,000 people, diverse colors and uniqueness were not limited to the human race...

Love the one with the sunlight,well actually love them all,lol.I'm glad you were able to find such beauty amoung the concrete,it always amazes me how plants can survive such places,and come up in the smallest of cruel living places.They are always there somewhere to brighten ones day,yes IF we look.I'm always looking,LOL
