I can understand your viewpoint on that. For me I put it in the same category as I did the Bill part of the equation. I personally found what he did repugnant...but thought that he was good for the country as President.

Ever since the Gary Hart episode, I made an active decision to ignore, as best I can, the private lives of these people and make my judgments on what they do, or I think that they will do for the country while in office.

I put the Hillary side of this into that "private life" bucket as well and try to judge her on her viewpoints and politics and what I think she can do better than other candidates.

I hate to admit this publicly, but I make terrific business decisions but have done some pretty dumb things in the "love" part of my life.

Go figure...

Not everyone is perfect, not Bill Clinton either! I believe a happy marriage is based on mutual understanding of each other, understanding how and why, when your partner has slipped. Also help each other to grow, to move forward together. Hillary stayed with her husband, that doesn’t mean that she has no respect to herself. It only means that she understood why her partner made the mistake and moved on together.

I have a girlfriend who will vote for Hilary simply because she is a woman. She doesnt know what Hilary brings to the table and I dont think it would change her mind if she did. I believe Hilary will get alot of these kinds of votes.

I have another girlfriend that will NOT vote for Hilary because she doesnt feel the US is ready for a female president.

I dont really like Hilary myself and I think her husband is a complete waste of good human space. BUT if she is the lesser of the two evils on our ballot, I'll vote for her. It wont necessarily be a vote for Hilary as it will be a vote against the other candidate.

I know I'm not taking into account any others who may try to throw their hats in the ring, but I think this election will be a race strictly between the Repubs and the Dems, sorry folks, but isnt that pretty much the norm?

I couldn't agree more. We've all made plenty of compromises -- as has EVERY politician. We can't know what went on between Hillary and Bill in their private hearts. The outstanding GOOD, though, definitely pushes the scale to Hillary's potential for doing great things for us in the future. She's bright, compassionate, aware -- I look at her daughter (and the strength of character on Hillary's part to raise such a jewel in the midst of Washington) and I have tremendous respect. This is a good woman.
