Waking up to a free country, disease free in the land of opportunity. Paradise. Making some strong coffee, heading to work thinking about the calls that need to be made. Thankful for my wife and children and thankful spring is about to be sprung. The air will smell of vegetation again, as opposed to freezerburn. Praise and thanks.

Yesterday, I came home to the bad news that I have cancer.
Today I have learned (just now) that it is treatable and will hopefully take only a few chemo sessions to control.
I'm very, very, very, very, very happy!!

Oh Prunella I am so sorry to hear that you have cancer. I am pleased to hear that it should be fairly easily treated. You are in my thoughts and prayers. May you have a speedy recovery.

I was worrying.
I'm still worrying but I will try to worry positively.

Thanks Gayle. I don't know what 'trans-arterial chemoembolization' and 'radio-frequency ablation' mean, but that's what I'm getting...along with a couple of days off of work.
Can't beat that.
Olivia, don't worry at all. Cancer's just a scary word that God throws at us from time to time to make sure we're getting enough beta-carotene in our diets. I'm gonna start eating right from now on!
