I need to bust up part of my back sidewalk to bury a pipe. A portion of it is so sunken in the ground that the yard/mud is starting to reclaim that space. If I didn't keep it cleaned off the yard would just overtake it. So... when I bust up another portion of it, I figure it will be a good time to replace the whole thing with one of those fake cobblestone sidewalks made from concrete and a cobblestone mold. My question is... if I like the idea of a raised sidewalk, can I just mold my cobblestone on top of the old sidewalk or do I have to bust the whole dang thing up? Please tell me I can just go on top of the old one.
