well folks i have this terrible desease and let me tell you it totally sucks ass you hurt constantly and when you have chronic pain syndrome and cervical stenosis along with corpal tunnel all yu want to do is trade yur whole body in ya know im to friggin young for this crap and dont have time for it soppose to be on pain meds for the rest of my life and that sux as well any alternative meds out there for this

Luckily for those of us who suffer and the FDA and SSA know it's real. The medical community is coming around what with FM being a legitimate reason for disability. Also a drug called Lyrica has been approved to help relieve the neuropathy pain associated with it. Lyrica works great it's just too expensive for me. I went back to my Neurontin for now until the patent allows for generic.
It's a hell of a thing to deal with and when you have other things associated with and/or other medical conditions it's near impossible to function.

It is sooo frustrating when you do not have the support that is needed from pros, family, friends. It is hard enough to deal with the pain, LD, vision, heart, nausea, etc. We are not nuts. This thing called FM is not just in our heads. My Dad sent me an article from his newspaper about an anti-depressant that for some reason also works well with relieving pain. It is called Elavil.
I have taken myself off of all the pain meds, which have not worked, but I am still taking Effexar. I am going to suggest the Elavil with my Doc. It would be nice not to have pain and all that comes with FM. Could work. Will let you guys know. Peace

FMs is not what they in our heads. It is body and we live with this all the time and they have no, clue or they don't care. They have to get out numbers to look good for the insurance companies. No, one else..
